Dear all,

Please can someone help me with some advice..I am a single mother of 2, my eldest is autistic and in a mainsteam school for 2 years now (parttime) and ABA at home. My ds has many sensory needs and I really need to move outside london for better space (home is very small and on second floor with no outside play), as well as small classroom size as he struggle with the noise and chaos of 31 in class every day. Can anyone suggest area that is sympathetic to Statemented children just outside London. many thanks in advance

of course if you feel ready to move out of london you should.

I would be a little concerned with regard to your level of support for yourself emotionally - are there any areas where you already have contacts? I would start there and then look for schools in that area, rather than going country wide straight off.

Good luck.

Thank you Catmando, I really do not have any emotional support here at the moment and I have handful of friends scattered round the country, so nothing holding me here. just taking a break(sad) from a 2 hour meltdown!!
