Atomoxetine side effects - do they settle?

DS (13, auHDHD w PDA) started atomoxetine yesterday. He got very tired, a little headachy and didn't eat much. At bedtime he said he didn't want to take it anymore because of the side effects. It's taken us months to get him to give medication another try and I was really hoping this would be a more positive experience for him.

Has anyone's child had similar side effects with atomoxetine initially but seen them wear off after a little while?

My son takes it. What time of day does he have it? We found giving it to him before bedtime helped with the reduction in appetite. The adhd nurse gave us the idea.

Haven't been able to convince DS to try it again, but will see if he's more open to taking it at bedtime. Thanks!
