SEND Advocacy Training

I want to train to become a SEND Advocate , I have successfully navigated the system as a parent and want to support others to do the same.
Does anyone have any idea what qualifications or training is required or recommendations of courses ?

There are no mandatory requirements. That is a huge part of the problem, IMO. It is an unregulated area.

IPSEA’s courses are good places to start.

Thank you , this is my concern . I don’t want to be a half informed cowboy 🤣 If there are properly accredited courses I want to do them .
