Dyslexia screening

This is the GL dyslexia screening for my Yr 6 DD (done at end of Yr 5). We haven’t had grave concerns at all but it’s been raised by others outside school and she does struggle with anxiety and worries particularly about English. She is in a very high achieving school and masks well though so we are having her screened for inattentive ADHD and having a full EP assessment.
However, for those that see these things and can interpret - what should we take from it? Thankyou!

I've replied on your other post but this is probably a better sub forum to post in. Hopefully others will be able to help

A comprehensive EP assessment is the right way to go.

The relatively lower ‘word sounds’ score could be part of dyslexia. Does DD have noticeable difficulties with phonological awareness and phonological processing day to day? What about other areas of auditory processing?

Thankyou! She struggles to sound out new words and also can't put words into their syllables, despite verbally being very good and often recognising the words one she is told them?

My son passed a school Dyslexia screening and (just) passed the phonics screening was later diagnosed with Dyslexia so you'd do better just waiting for the full EP report.

Thankyou. I hope they’re doing ok now x

I think dyslexia (and potentially auditory processing disorder) is very much a possibility then. The EP assessment should provide a comprehensive view of DD’s difficulties and the support required.

Have you spoken to the SENCO at school?
