Has anyone else experienced this with DLA?

I sent in my sons DLA form last year and got the text message that they received my application on 20/05/2025 and then received a letter on 29/08/2025 saying that he doesn’t qualify for DLA at all.
I provided so much evidence (detailed answers to all the questions on the form, diaries to show his day to day life, reports from his paediatrician and speech therapist and reports and statements from SENIT, his nurseries SENCO and his pre-school class teachers (gymnastics, music ect.) and the leader of a SEN stay and play that we go to. There was literally nothing else that I could have added.
I did the appeal/mandatory reconsideration which was confirmed to be received on 10/09/2025 and I’m still waiting to hear back. With that I sent a report from our local carers charity (during the meeting with her she said she didn’t understand how they hadn’t given him any award and that he should get at least middle rate care..) and his autism diagnosis report as he wasn’t diagnosed when I first applied but it’s not supposed to be based on diagnosis anyway…
I’m just so confused about it all…

Unfortunately, some are refused even with a lot of evidence. Some have to go to Tribunal.
