My 7 year old boy is currently awaiting an ADHD assessment and the general consensus is it's very likely he will get a diagnosis.
I saw a post somewhere about magnesium supplements having a positive effect on sleep (would be main reason for giving!) and some impact on calmness and wondered if anyone has any experience? Is there a particular brand that is better than others (my limited research says there are different types of magnesium, but not which is best or how much might be useful). I've also seen people recommended omega 3.
Would be open to suggestions - to be clear I'm not looking for medical advice or suggestions re: melatonin as it's not available without a prescription, just looking for experiences please
