Esland online school?

My local authority will only agree to fund three online schools. Two (Kings IH and Minerva VA) have huge classes and I’ve heard mixed parental reviews; the third is Esland. My daughter is quite academic but does struggle with anxiety and intrusive thoughts, so I can see the therapeutic side of this could be helpful but . . . It only seems to offer the core, has a focus on getting them back into physical school and, more importantly, I can’t find any parental reviews anywhere! The only reviews I can find are staff ones focused on their children’s homes, and they are not complimentary! Does anyone have any experience of their online school (or failing that, their bricks and mortar schools)? Thank you!

From those I have supported, I have heard/seen more negatives than positives.

Other online provision can be funded. The provision has to be suitable. For some, none of these 3 are suitable. For some, no online provision is suitable at all and other provision can be funded even if the LA is telling you otherwise.

It is also possible to have other provision on top to cover wider subjects. LAs won’t tell you this, but there s19 duty extends beyond core subjects.

Thank you. After a lot of back and forth, they’ve bore agreed to fund my choice, which is the UK Virtual School that we’ve used before - and yes, one of my arguments was that two of their choices denied her access to the full curriculum. So glad I pushed it, because the more I’ve read about these, the less faith I had in their ability to meet my daughter’s needs.
