I am based in England . Could anyone recommend a GPS tracker for my child that tracks in real time and that I could maybe send an alert to if he lost to help find him quick . No judgment please . My child is 5 YO has autism / adhd and is non verbal he elopes frequently and recently went missing in a shop 😢😢😢 I let him free why I reaching for a top for him to try on and he had ran off . while i do keep him close and take steps to prevent this wrist strap / pushchair etc I have seen the devices online in America such as angel sense and would like something like this for peace of mind . Any recommendations much appreciated

Can’t help with a watch but what about an AirTag in a pocket, sewn into clothing or attached to footwear?

I tried various tracking devices like airtags for my son (he wants me to as he is very worried of getting lost) but they were all very unreliable and would not show an exact location (not the right floor or shop if in a mall, or often not even the right house number etc, but like 50 to 100m off target). Even gps devices relied on mobile reception for real time trakking, which is not automatically available inside shops and even often outside. So we had to teach 2 way communication, either via mobile phone or SIMcard watch, including how to go and find and sign into public wifi if no reception, so that they can explain/describe where they are. We are still working on him remembering my telephone number and going up to someone and asking them to call me in an emergency. It was easier in my childhood when phone numbers had only 5 digits. I still mostly rely on a pouch around his neck with my telephone number in it so that he can ask for help.
