Why is this declined please?
Question.. (sorry it’s long) 🙈
I applied for my 2 daughters for DLA on the 14th April 2025. 1 scanned on the 19th May and 1 scanned the 20th May. (Received texts on them dates) 2 weeks after I received a letter for one of my daughters who’s was scanned on the 19th but not the daughters on 20th. I called them up and they said both girls had been put onto the same file and that she would separate it. Fast forward to 24th of this month (July) I received a back payment of middle rate care and low mobility, I called to confirm which child it was for and it was for my daughter who they didn’t send the letter for. When I asked if my others daughters had been looked at she said no.. is this normal ? Was both girls ment to be in the same file ? The one I was awarded payment for is diagnosed with ADHD and awaiting ASD assessment. I only sent her diagnoses letter. My other daughter isn’t diagnosed but waiting to be assessed for ASD & ADHD. I sent senco reports, teacher report, one plan and paediatrician acceptance letter. Just seems strange that I got back payment after only waiting 9 weeks for one, (which is quick) but my other daughter hasn’t been looked at ? Thank you if you got this far 🙈☺️
