Mediation or appeal

Hi there,

My son’s EHCP request has been declined following assessment. I just wanted to ask whether to go down the mediation route or straight to appeal? Any help or advice would be appreciated!

Personally, I would get the certificate and submit to SENDIST rather than actively partake in mediation. You can still discuss with the LA and they can still concede the appeal.
