Meltdowns

My teenaged daughter has recently received an ASD diagnosis and so I’ve been looking at various groups etc to see if I can get support for her particular issue. However, I see a lot of people in these groups asking for help with meltdowns. My child hasn’t had meltdowns and I’m wondering if this is odd? Since she started in Y7 she has had two separate weeks, a year apart where she came home and cried on me because of sensory issues within school, but that’s about it.

Not all experience regular meltdowns. And sometimes just because someone hasn’t experienced regular meltdowns previously doesn’t mean they won’t in the future.
