Why is it being belittled to have an ADHD now? Sick of these comments

I also find this so annoying, too. What relation is there between frequency of occurance and severity/genuine need for support? Over 50% of all people will develop cancer. We are not going round complaining that as almost everyone gets diagnosed with cancer nowadays these diagnosis are pointless, meaningless and noone needs support and medical treatment anyway.

They are being diagnosed over a ? 50 year lifespan so of course there are a lot. I am 69 and was diagnosed 2years ago.
Once the majority are diagnosed you’ll be left with children going through primary and early secondary so much fewer.
