Does anyone have any recent experience of how long it is taking for the SEND Tribunal to register appeals at the moment? I lodged an appeal against a school placement on 21st March. I know that they have received the appeal and they have told me that it is compliant, but I have yet to receive confirmation that they have registered it.

I'm not complaining as I know how busy they are at this time of year, just curious. Unfortunately, our local authority could have decided on my son's next school placement well before Christmas last year, but they decided to unnecessarily delay the decision until mid-March. 😡😰I'm thinking that many other local authorities have done the same.

Ha, ha! I'm able to answer my own question. Just under two hours after I posted this morning, the appeal was registered. It's taken 12 working days in my case, which probably isn't bad considering the number of appeals they must be receiving.
