Has anyone ever sent a PAP letter before? Ours is due to go out this week, just wondering what we should expect

There’s no set way LAs act, I’m afraid. Some will jump to it straight away. Some will delay as long as possible, then act at the last moment. Some will arrange a meeting with you, supposedly with the aim of resolving the matter but actually intending to delay further, but then they will act. And some will ignore, forcing you to proceed with JR - although even then few get all the way to an actual hearing.
