My 15 year old daughter likely has ADHD, she's done the screening forms from CAMHS and has been added to the two year waiting list for a full assessment. She also suffered significant childhood trauma which resulted in an unsuccessful suicide attempt last year. CAMHS have finally accepted that she needs help for her trauma, again another waiting list. They think the potential ADHD and trauma negatvely impact on each other.
I am trying to find a private face to face (not online) ADHD assessment that will also provide medication (if needed). Each company that I find either doesn't provide medication or doesn't want to assess her. Please can anyone recommend face to face ADHD Assessments that also prescribe? We live near York but I'm more than willing to travel.
