My 3 year old nearly 4 has been suspended from pre-school due to his compulsive behaviour of pulling other kids pants down.
When he started there in Sep another child had done this to him twice and touched him and other kids laughed. After the second incident I questioned as to why 3 year old were going to toilet alone. Since they they say he is going alone.
He has now continued doing this and when i asked him he said its funny, he is playing etc.
We have done the nspcc pants video and also a storyboard explaining it is appropriate. At Home there are no issues regarding this. He has an older brother who is autistic and has ADHD, but he stays away from the 3 year old.
He also has some behavioural issue where he has randomly hit other children. His teacher said he gets bored and starts hitting out. We sent some fidget toys too.
Anyway he is now suspended for 5 school days. I've contacted health visitor and family team for help. I have taken so much time off between both my kids that I cannot afford this anymore and thinking of going part time or leave. School said if when he goes back again if this carries on they can permanently exclude him. I had put the school down as first priority for reception as my older son is there and only recently made friends.
I'm considering applying for DLA. Not sure if that's a good idea.
Anyone else had similar issues willing to share please? Thank you.
