EHCP in private nursery

Hi all, we have just been notified that our daughter will be issued an EHCP. We are yet to receive the first draft, however I am now wondering if this could throw a spanner in the works with her nursery placement.

My daughter is in a private nursery, 30 hours a week. We applied for the EHCP ourselves but nursery contributed as required.

How does it work in terms of the financial impact on the nursery? For example, if my daughters EHCP states that she needs one to one at all times, do the LA fund that? Or would the nursery have to?

My worry is, if nursery are supposed to fund it they simply will say they can't meet her needs and therefore she can no longer attend. It's a private nursery and if they had to pay for the additional support stated in the EHCP, I cannot understand why they would ever say yes to meeting her needs.

Feeling confused/stuck/anxious

The LA is ultimately responsible for ensuring the provision in F is provided. That includes ensuring there is sufficient funding.
