Cannot attend EHCP review

My DS has his yearly EHCP review on Thursday 30th Jan. I did let his school know a while ago that I’d be able to attend, however my circumstances have now changed and I’m now unable to attend due to work. Will the review go ahead without me? Or does the parent have to be present and are these sort of reviews able to be rearranged?

Contact the school and LA ASAP requesting the review meeting be rearranged. It is best if you are present.

Although I would also speak to work too. Because they should be making adjustments for your caring role.
