Pushchair recommendations

Can anyone recommend a pushchair for an older child? It's for a 3 year old but I don't know how long he will need it for, so it needs to be roomy enough to use for the next few years. I've seen the Special Tomato jogger which looks great but unfortunately too expensive for us.

It doesn't need to be fancy but it does need to recline at least a bit and it needs to have a hood that DS can pull down himself from inside the seat (i.e. doesn't have a catch or anything that needs to be released by whoever is pushing the chair).

Any recommendations? 🙏

You are unlikely to get a buggy that reclines any/much cheaper than either the special tomato jogger or special tomato EIO. Some of the cheaper SN buggies are the Maclaren Major, Excel Elise and Mobiquip XL, but they don’t recline and still aren’t cheap.

There are charities who can help with grants for SN buggies. For example, Newlife, Caudwell Children, Boparan Trust, Whizz Kidz, Florence Nightingale Aid in Sickness Trust.

They regularly come up second hand, too.

Thanks @BrightYellowTrain I'll have a look at second hand Special Tomato buggies 👍
