Dla renewal question

I have received my dla renewal form for my DS and it asks for my child benefit ref number as shown on my bank statement or a letter from child benefit. I don’t have any letters and it’s not on my bank statement, when you go on HMRC chat it says just to use your Nat ins number, but the form asks for a CHB number. What do I do??

Use NI number.

Just write on the form these don't exist anymore. Child benefit numbers were abolished years ago they just haven't changed the forms. I wrote the above on my form
