Returning SEN Children

My children are SEN and they we're being split between myself and their mother almost 50/50 (3 days for me / 4days). Recently their mother attempted suicide by fire, with the children inside the house. SS are involved and they have stated the children are "safe" to return, but im not convinced, there is a questionmark over whether drugs are involved, but SS & other professionals state " nothing has been brought to their concern", however on the night of the fire there was a strong smell of pot on both the mother and the children. I have parental responsibility, at what point do I need to return the children?

Is there a court order in place?

No

If there is no court order in place and you have PR, you can, in theory, not return DC and make an application to the court. However, you should seek legal advice before refusing DM access, especially if professionals involved don’t believe access should be denied.
