Struggling to get Diagnosis letter from hospital

DS had appointment in July in a large London hospital and got diagnosis. School need formal letter to put in place exam adjustments and letter was promised. No letter received. So far I have tried:

  • emailing secretary of consultant but got out of office with alternative email
  • tried alternative email but it bounced back
  • called main switchboard and they tried all secretaries in that department and no answer. They provided alternative email
  • tried alternative email but no response
  • contacted GP to check if by any chance they had any letter but no they had not. They gave me a different number to try but no answer
  • a different health professional has been chasing hospital for last few weeks and no progress

Any suggestions on what I could do next?

Try PALS.

Although a formal diagnosis is not required for the school to put exam access arrangements in place, so speak to the school again.

Thank you. I hadn't thought of PALs and I didn't realise a formal diagnosis was needed by school. I have contacted school.
