Really struggling with autism

My son is 5 and a half years old and it feels his autism is showing more by the day. It is getting harder and harder to deal with him and I find myself getting wound up. We haven't had an official diagnosis however the pediatrics doctor has said that it is.

I'm not sure what to do

What support is the school providing? Does DS have an EHCP?

Scope offers mentoring to parents of DC undergoing assessment.

If you haven’t already, apply for DLA.

You can also look at an early help referral.

The school are not too worried currently about an EHCP so not done alot about that.

We get DLA so that's sorted.

I haven't heard about scope so I will look into that and yes school are being supportive thankfully but I just feel overwhelmed tonight I think.

Ignore the school and request an EHCNA yourself.
