DLA back payment

Hi I'm just looking for some advise. I recieved a text on the 05/09 saying its been decided that my child qualifys for DLA. I'm just wondering if anybody knows how long it will take till we recieve the back pay as on the text it states that I will recieve a letter in the next 2 weeks. Thank you Mia 😊

I got a back payment in my account 3 days after I got a text.

Most receive it within a few days. However, there’s no set time and it can take longer.

Thank you for your replies. I've been told DLA is paid on a Tuesday so I'm wondering if it will go in tomorrow.

Backpay isn’t always paid on the same day as the normal payment.
