Help with secondary school choices

Hi everyone - I’ve never posted here before but always found the chat really useful…. We have to state our preferred secondary school my son, who is on the ASD spectrum & has issues with processing speed too, this week - I was only alerted by his current school last night! Does anyone here have a child at Abingdon House on Marylebone or Riverston in Greenwich they could/would be willing to share. They were our ideal top / when we did the visiting round - but I hadn’t expected to have to make a choice so soon 😳 Any views especially personal experience would be hugely appreciated!

I haven’t had DC attend those schools. However, the LA may want you to state your preferred placement this week, but you legally don’t have to. You don’t have to name your preferred placement until you get the LA’s proposed amendments, which you should receive within 4 weeks of the phase transfer review.
