Tribunal - when do we hear outcome?

We have a tribunal hearing date confirmed for our appeal of refusal to assess. The case will be done on papers. When am I likely to hear the outcome? Will it be on the day of the tribunal? Thanks

Not the day of unfortunately. I guess it depends by area but we had to wait 10 weeks

Most receive a decision within a couple of weeks. Sometimes this is slightly longer, but 10 weeks is unusual.

Thanks. And if the appeal was successful, would the ´clock’ for assessing need start again from the date of the tribunal?

If the LA is ordered to assess, and following assessment they are going to issue, they must finalise within 14 weeks of the date of the Order. If they aren’t going to issue, they must inform you by week 10.

We've heard within a week both times, by email.
