Hi

Can anyone one advise what I should be sending to Sendist as evidence. My daughter has just been issued with an EHCP stating mainstream.

I believe this is totally unsuitable due to her high needs (glp 1, double incontinent, undiagnosed ASD, spd)

I've just got the mediation certificate downloaded the appeal form, I have also added in amendments I would like adding into the EHCP pulled from the private salt and OT reports.

Other then the above I'm not sure what I can send send in, DD defo needs a Sen school and it advises this in the ot report however the LA have picked only bits from the ot report and haven't considered the salt report at all

Any help would be appreciated

Don’t worry about needing to send all your evidence now. Send whatever evidence you have. You can send additional information later. If you know there is more to come, you can say so. What you send depends on what you have and what DD's needs are. For example, in addition to the independent reports, do you have correspondence with school or between members of staff at school? Do you have SEN plans that support your points? Any other data from school? What is the EP report like? Do you need to consider an independent assessment?

Thank you for this I appreciate it. I have risk assessment from school, correspondence from when she has been hurt by other children and she hasn't vocalised in any way. We are going through cauldwell children for a diagnosis so we should have a further report soon.

The initial ep report was terrible and I had confirmation of this by the head children's ed psych who then got the ed psych to amend it which they did. It is better but not great. It does indicate a Sen setting but doesn't specifically say that. I did use a checking service who said the salt and OT reports will be sufficient and that no mainstream school will be able to meet needs already in section F... Ie it says it therapy required by si trained TA... There are non like that the head teacher said it's not something they have in mainstream they said they definitely can't meet need where she is. She also has no peer group
