DLA advice

Hello,

Can anyone give me any advice on applying for DLA please? It's for a child with autism/ ADHD and behaviour difficulties.

What kind of evidence is helpful?

How long does it all take?

Anything you wish you'd known in advance?

Cerebra’s guide is helpful. Send any evidence you have, e.g. from medical appts/referrals, school, social care. Most new claims are taking 17-20 weeks at the moment. Sometimes a bit quicker, occasionally longer.
