So confused. Scared to agree and it be detrimental to her. We hoped she would get 1:1 funding. Throughout the draft it says ‘to provide a high level of daily support on a 1:1 basis and/or within small group of children. If i agree to this i presume 1:1 just wont be funded or happen as ive agreed to the OR option also is that right?

The wording needs to be detailed, specified and quantified. The wording you have posted isn’t. 1:1 may not be provided and it wouldn’t be enforceable. This applies whether you agree to the wording or not. The LA doesn’t need your permission or you to agree to finalise. If they finalise and the EHCP is inadequate you can appeal.

Focus on ensuring all the provision reasonably required is detailed, specified and quantified in F rather than the funding. That way it can be enforced.

Provision in EHCPs is taken from the reports. Is the wording in the reports vague and woolly? If so, ask the LA to go back to the report writers to make the wording detailed, specified and quantified.
