I made a complaint about school on Friday .
Monday 9am they emailed 10 pages of lies to SS.
including “mum is drinking ? “
And many other lies against me that I can all back it up with solid material that they are lying .

the funny thing is due to medical physical Gastro reason I can’t drink . My GP knows it .

I can’t believe private school here lie about anything for revenge.

Thank you .
I didn’t even release we have priority over others due to SEN. ( EHCP not even approved yet).
for any state.

I don’t know for state : those kids if they are PRE-diagnosis status .( usually 1-2 years waiting time ) have priority or not over other Normal kids during state admission . Or only those who has status of POST-diagnosed.

they did ask to see official diagnosis and I have both nhs & private .

just trying to get my head around this system .
For private : we r shame and blamed .
for state : we are priority . can pick and choose any .

wow
really wish I knew all this before motherhood .

They will never refund more than that, but they should have apologised atleast for all the nonsense they made you go through but their arrogance won't let them. You should start calling the next school and ask how to put EHCP in place so your child has everything in place when they join.

Ewrika · 21/02/2024 07:04

SEND tribunal will get me a verbal apology at maximum if I win. I did tell send that I want the apology on media from them for their behaviour . Not just to me 1 singular person .
Doubt that will happen .
go to send court is easy for me . Only half day trip and lots printing & lots coffee.

but :
meanwhile I am awaiting for a yes or no from EHCP. Then 15 days count down deadline for the wording drafting . Or appeal . my energy will be focused on this as priority .

new school has 1 special unit on site , as well as a seperate Normal setting the other side of fence .
1/3 ratio has EHCP .
We will be in normal setting .

New school senco knows the current ehcp people very well. everyone knows everyone.

my job is just to focus on the wording drafting if/ once EHCP approved.

So he's had a EHC needs assessment already, with educational psychologist? If so, that's good!

Has he started at the new school?

I hope this will be a positive step. It sounds promising so far. Perhaps with the right support, your son will begin to thrive at school!

Ewrika · 21/02/2024 08:04

Thank you :)

As you were told on your previous thread, you have misunderstood the EHCP timescales. You only requested an EHCNA recently. The decision you are waiting for now, that the LA has until week 6 to inform you of, is whether the LA will assess or not. It is not the whether they will issue an EHCP or not.

As per the admissions code, in-year admissions are based on the admission criteria. Without an EHCP, DC with SEN (diagnosis or not) do not get priority. Some schools have an exceptional medical or social needs category, some of which don’t apply beyond the normal entry point, but the bar to be considered under this is very high and, based on your posts, wouldn’t apply to you. There is the FAP, but that is different, and also wouldn’t apply to you because you haven’t struggled to get a place via the normal in-year admissions procedures.

If you think a DD claim to SENDIST is easy you are mistaken. Most hearings are still virtual, not all are only 1/2 day.

Ewrika · 21/02/2024 09:27

Assess : yes
issue : not yet

OP posts:
Thatsnotmycar · 21/02/2024 09:33

So the LA agreed to assess and undertook the NA in less than a month? That just doesn’t happen.

Ewrika · 21/02/2024 13:08

Sorry what is NA?

OP posts:
Thatsnotmycar · 21/02/2024 14:07

Needs assessment.

When you request an EHCNA the LA has 6 weeks to inform you if they are going to assess or not. If they are, a needs assessment is undertaken, and if the LA is going to issue, they must do so by week 20, so should send a draft by week 20. If they aren’t going to issue, they must inform you by week 16.

Ewrika · 21/02/2024 15:17

I am around week 10

Well that is strange because that wasn’t what you posted on your first, now deleted, thread that was posted less than a month ago.

I think I figured out why head called me 30 times Tuesday suddenly offering me to back dating leaving with immediate effect without 1 term notice .(waive notice fee)
as nhs called safe guarding and Ewo to go to school to investigate after half term on Monday .
this is his way to buy out a termination of investigation . As my notice was given during half term so it’s officially from Monday if I agree to leave with immediate effect. So on Tuesday head wana me to backdate leaving on Monday . ( waive fee from Monday )

OP posts:
Ewrika · 21/02/2024 20:52

Internal investigation report came out today —all BS. Even with panel . All BS .
they cover each other ofcoz.

school still didn’t disclose any SAR . And saying everything they done so far is appropriate.

most useful so far is nhs + ewo .
and the upcoming send tribunal ?

I just read lots school who discriminate lost case in tribunal and said sorry and then ? so what ? What’s next ? Some one lose job ?
they change ? I set up a precedence and legacy ?

my kiddo said he just wana move on doesn’t want to waste time to fight .

New state school senco read current draft from old senco . Told me it’s all BS .

Thisismynewusernamedoyoulikeit · 21/02/2024 21:43

I appreciate that you feel really angry about how your son has been treated, but your latest posts aren't making sense.

You've definitely misunderstood the role of EWO. They're not someone who can "investigate" a school or hold a school to account for not meeting a child's needs, or any other thing. They work with schools to improve attendance.

What draft did the new SENCO read? They obviously didn't say "it's BS." So what did they say? And how can they know if they've only just met your son?

Ewrika · 22/02/2024 07:26

Not just EWO . Child protection been called into S too. Lots other external agency into S to check too . 1 by 1 or at the same time. At least 5-7 agencies .

anyway I just feel weird this is bit too good to be true . Head suddenly calling me emailing me like mad 20 a day begging to leave with 0 notice . I don’t know what happened.
anyway I agreed . Energy now focusing on moving forward .

Old senco draft of plan .
i showed it to a few new states during school visits . Together with all other reports .
well the original comments are something like “ this senco draft plan not really useful , it doesn’t make much sense”

I found this quote :

Thank you for all replying, I have been incontact with both IPSEA and Educational Equality. Both will check ehcp for error, educational equality seem to offer a better service for £40 they will fine tooth comb the plan and report back areas they would recommend to be changed in writting. Which I will be taking to the la and request the necessary changes. Then see what happens from there.

some mums also saying SOS SEN very helpful .

so the next focus is waiting for a yes or no or 15 days of tooth combing .

but some says just take whatever u got/ will get . Don’t disagree as it will drag the whole process much longer back and forth .

OP posts:
Thisismynewusernamedoyoulikeit · 22/02/2024 07:55

SENCOs don't write EHCPs, so issues with the draft are due to the ed psych report, other reports or the local authority.

"Child protection are called into school" - I have no idea what this means, as"child protection" isn't an agency.

I'm glad you're moving forward with DS in a new school, as the trust between you and his old school is clearly completely broken.

Ewrika · 22/02/2024 08:34

Draft plan : support plan inside school .

not drafting for EHCP . That is EHCP coordinator’s job I guess .

Social service called again
but this time she is extremely careful ……

As she is exposed as making internal comment about I am crazy drunk .

So she told me : I have added new notes about ur mental health is ok from doctor.
I am so so sorry I can’t delete what I said but I can add above new notes .

All u can do now is to ask FOI to delete what I said .
There is a procedure .dont over share with them just say : I would like to delete this . Pls advise how.

Then she gaslighting me : u know its because u talk too fast I misunderstood u a lot. U need to slow down .

Then she trying to self defence saying :
Doctor said there is none mental history know to him. But didn’t say if now they assess u what they will find .

then she insist on to telling new school senco that my kid has suffered lots stress from ex school , communication between mum and school fell apart . Kid May need extra help to settle in .
if I don’t agree with above disclosure it will raise red flag in SS system .

i agreed under pressure .

so the head was calling me 20 times and emailed me 15 times on Monday and Tuesday offering me back- dated immediate withdraw with 0 notice .
and same time called SS to say school can’t find me since 9th Feb 2024 .

I have been asked to provide a report by xxx to clarify her history, specifically in relation to alcohol intake and mental health.
She has previously reported that she does not drink alcohol and blood tests (liver function and
MCV) are normal supporting this. We have not organised objective testing of alcohol intake this nor are we able to.
xxxx is not being seen by ourselves, or anyone else to our knowledge, for any mental health related problems.
Regards,
Dr
