SAR requests and attitudes!

Has anybody done a SAR request and still had a good relationship with the school.
Ideally I would still like to have a positive relationship with school and work together but i have a feeling my request isn't going to go down well.
It won't stop me because I need some information about a few individuals who have been vocal about my child i just want to be prepared for any backlash.

I have done SARs without them leading to the breakdown of the relationship. A SAR doesn’t have to lead the breakdown of the relationship. If it does it suggests the relationship was precarious to begin with.

Are you able to just request the specific information you want?

You are of course entitled to everything but it uses such a lot of resources that if you are able to be more specific then it can go some way towards maintaining a positive vibe between you and the school. It sounds like what you are asking for specifically is a perfectly reasonable thing to want to find out about.

Good idea i could definitely be more specific to save them some work
