The Cavendish School Cambridge

Hi

Are there any mumsnetters on here who's child(ren) attend the new Cavendish state school near Cambridge?
The school will not specify whether they have children with SEMH which is really annoying, they said they were not allowed to say!! madness. They will only deal with the LA and won't answer any of my questions.
My daughter had to come out of mainstream 2 yrs ago and has since been placed in 2 further schools, one state, and one independent. Both were quite violent and completely the wrong choice for my daughters needs. She doesn't have challenging behaviours. She is terrified of aggression and volatile unpredictable behaviours. She couldn't cope with the amount of it at the previous schools, and started avoiding school. We need a school which provides GCSE's and A levels but is for children with Aspergers/Autism. I am aware of Gretton, but as it is independent, I know the LA will push for state schools first before agreeing to pay for any fees like with Gretton. I am quite happy for my daughter to go to a state school, but I don't want to make another mistake with an incompatible placement for her. Any reviews or info on The Cavendish would be massively appreciated please.
