My sister (not a mumsnetter) is very likely to be offered a Y7 place at the new Paddock secondary school, used to be in Putney, now relocating to Tooting for her DD11. We are concerned. The goal is to save Wandsworth borough millions by putting hundreds of pupils into a vast school rather than paying for schools outside Borough, including private schools, transport, etc. The old Paddock is closing down in sept 24 and the new site, formerly a MS primary, will be closed down too to incorporate Paddock and hundreds of other kids. While I understand the motives the year group will have more than 64 kids. This is a terrible setting for my niece who has sensory issues, ASD and ADHD, frequent meltdowns. The venture into the unknown is also very unsettling. My sister has severe dyslexia and anxiety so unwilling to go to Tribunal. English not her first language. Anyone with DC at Paddock or looking to start secondary there 2024?
