EHCP Annual Review

Would anybody happen to know if we are allowed to bring an advocate to an EHCP Annual Review, never had one before so wasn't sure the protocol? Thanks

An advocate can attend with you if you want, but don’t feel one is essential. If you do want one to attend it would be courteous to inform other attendees they will be attending.

Thank you for that, so I wouldn't need to ask the school's or LAs permission as such but just let them know? It could be a tricky meeting for various reasons so might be helpful.

No, you don’t need to ask permission, but you should inform them.
