Clinical partners medication

Hello,

My DD14 has an appointment to discuss medication for ADHD with clinical partners on Friday. I was just wondering if anyone knows the process?

I read that an online pharmacy is used, so are we unlikely to receive the medication before Christmas? I was hoping we would be able to pick it up from the local pharmacy following appointment.

I am keen for her to start medication over the Christmas holidays so we can monitor any side effects and hopefully she can get used to it before going back to school. I suppose that is unlikely to happen though.

Hello, she did end up starting medication before the end of the Christmas holidays. Still in titration process as she had to change medications, first one wasn’t working too good for her. She is doing ok, the medication definitely made mocks more manageable.

The process with clinical partners is really smooth, they use an online pharmacy who deliver within a few days.

Thanks so much for replying. Glad she is doing well. I'm worried about starting & titration as if he gets side effects I know he'll want to give up.
It's tough isn't it x
