Speech therapists what is the renfrew method please?

Ds asd aged 5. Assessed last year and recently by salt, last year was 9th percentile and now 1st but what in simple terms does the renfrew method look for? I've tried to Google it but I just getting results for the books! Thanks

The Renfrew action picture test asseses the ability to use vocabulary in sentences to describe pictures with the emphasis on providing enough info.
1st percentile for anything is incredibly low and will need support.
