My son's off to be tested for his lack of progress in school this year by the ed pys. on Tuesday.

What do I expect?

They will probably just observe him in the classroom.
How old is he?

I expect it will depend on his age.

I didn't sit in on my DD's EdP tests, just her OT ones - which consisted of some physical (throwing bean bag, jumping, standing on one leg etc) and some memory/shape NVR tests.

Good luck

Depends on age.

My sons probelsm are quite severe so I had to be in on it to answer most of the questions.

depends on the ed psych - they may do a calssroom observation, talk to him, you the teachers. They may want to do some kind of assesment.

Request that they meet you first or at the end or both to go through things with you.

depends. My son had a 1 to 1 assessment with lots of 'games' type tests. The school and I both had extensive forms to fill in regarding his general behavior in and out of school.

Assessment took the morning and we had initiql feed back then, with a detailed report later
