6 weeks holiday late nights

Hello :) is any one experiencing their children staying up late in 6 weeks holiday? My son doesn't wanna sleep? Wants to watch tv etc till he falls asleep. Im pulling my hair out! He's so defiant and hard to sway.

He's 8. It's as late as 12/1am.

Does he have a diagnosis? Have you tried Melatonin?

Can you continue with the routine as it would be if DS was in school? That’s what we do.

Yes he has asd/adhd. Just a waiting game on approving the melatonin. He's been referred to sleep clinic
