Hello :) my 8 year old son has been given meds for his adhd, is taking his first ever one this morning, we are still waiting for him to swallow, but having 5 mins break in between to try again. Any advice on how anyone has managed to get their child to swallow. Iv tried putting it in yogurt, drink, food. However he's over thinking it, with much encouragement it's not working 😩

If it's a capsule with granules in (equasym?) pour them out into a spoon of honey or nutella or whatever he likes. Make sure he doesn't chew as they taste awful. Good luck.

Thank you for this tip. I'm going to try with chocolate spread see if there is any hope x

May I aam how you’re getting on? My 7yo son has his prescription appointment tomorrow. I’m equally excited and anxious.
