EHCP - for ADHD ?

I have a child in KS1 recently diagnosed with severe ADHD and referred for Austim assessment by the NHS consultant. School sees the ADHD and has put child on their SEN register months before diagnosis, but school do not see the ASD (and I am trying to keep an open mind, but mildly convinced too)

I just wonder if anyone has applied for a EHCP in a similar situation? or do children with EHCP tend to have more complex needs, than the ones related to severe ADHD.

EHCPs are based on needs, not diagnosis. It’s possible for DC with ADHD to get an EHCP.

do you know anyone who actually has managed to get an EHCP to support ADHD symptoms/needs ?
