Hello, first post on Mumsnet but I'm feeling a bit desperate. My little boy is 5 , with autism and global development delay and basically his sleep has gotten horrendous. We're all exhausted and his behaviour is having a knock on effect.

I've been trying to contact his pediatrician but all I get is ignored calls, try to book an appointment, I get told my son is too far down the waiting list to be booked in for a follow up...the list goes on. No one wants to listen or even try and help, it's so frustrating and I'm at the end of my rope with it all. Sick to death of chasing every professional person in my son's life grrrrrrr.

Sorry, I digress, I'm so desperate - has anyone given their child melatonin they brought overseas? Someone mentioned Bioevea (I think) to me but not sure it's the right thing to do?? With no support, I'm clueless. Just wondered if anyone has experience with this? No hate please xx

Try getting in touch with either
Cerebra
or
The Sleep Charity

Are you uk? In our area the childrens centres ran sleep clinics. Could be worth enquiring? Or try hv if no joy with paediatrician.
