Hi, a good friend of mine has a seven year old son with ADHD. Weve been friends years and as her sons got older his behaviour has worsened to the point my children are scared and tearful when the childs behaviour escalates. My children are no angel's but love this child and have always been supportive and tolerant but its wearing thin and I'm questioning the upset and effect our meetings have on my children. I dont want upset my friend or be judgemental. I see how difficult it is for her but I don't feel we can carry on like this. Its sensitive and I need advice please.

Autism and ADHD are two completely different things.

I am surprised that a child with ADHD that you see sometimes makes your children scared and tearful.

Apologies, I know they're different and not sure why/how I wrote autism. It should read ADHD advise. I'm not sure how to edit it.
