Baston House Bromley

We're looking for an ASD specific school for DS and our Ed Psych recommended we look at Baston House. Anyone have experience of this school? DS needs a school with strong SALT and OT support which also delivers a mainstream curriculum with GCSEs. The school looks good on paper but I don't know anyone with children there. We're due to visit soon but I'd welcome any thoughts.

Hi @Popkids , did you manage to view Baston house and if so what were your thoughts. I’ve just started looking into specialist schools for my 11 year old. Also planning on arranging a visit but would be good to hear from other parents too. Hope you managed to find somewhere suitable in the end

Hello Popkids and Debbles75, I am looking at SEN schools for my pre-school child and was wondering if you have had a chance to view the school etc? cannot find very much info on web about the school and staffing etc, so thought I would ask here.

Hey @purplekat1979 , no, we abandoned that idea. Honestly can’t recall why as do much has happened since. We are checking out a specialist school called Riverston this week but found the same issue as with Baston, I.e very little info online. It was recommended by a SENCO at a mainstream we viewed. Mixed reviews on threads on here. Happy to report back about it.
