Hi :)
We have been asked to create an EOTAS package for our youngest D, for the EHCP. As parents this is all new to us and we have no idea what any of it is. We have 3 children and D is our only concern.

What do we even put in an EOTAS package? How does it all happen. So many terms and letters and numbers are being thrown at us and we're so lost. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

TIA

It depends on DD’s needs. EOTAS packages are bespoke and completely depend on what the child needs and can access.

That could be tutors, therapies (e.g. SALT, OT, physio, music, art, equine, Lego, rebound, hydro…), alternative provision (e.g. a care farm, forest school, outward bounds activities), music/singing/performing arts/chess lessons, exercise (gym, swimming, horse riding, climbing, football, trampolining), mentor, TA, trips into the community (museums, cafes etc.) Also equipment, resources, assistive technology, subscriptions, memberships, travel. And don’t forget professionals time.

There are endless possibilities. What do the assessments say is needed?
