I believe that DS's challenging behaviours in school have been related to sensory issues. eg DS making loud siren noises as an indicator that DS's sensory needs where unmet in the moment and needing deescalating. I want the school to see the challenging behaviours I am seeing, preferably with an OT but we don't have one. In CIN we have already heard the frustration lack of communication produces on behaviours in DS.
From lectures I have attended I think his behaviours are split/combined into OT and SALT, Regulation and Frustration, producing eg showering or head banging, self-soothing or destruction.
I hope behaviours/incidents have been documented in school as seen in Annual Review EHCP reports so that we may analyse DS.
How is this put across to the EHCP and Tribunal, is it literally just OT and SALT?
I look forward to hearing from you.
