My DS good at using Apps so I was thinking of trying the following:

Have you used any of them what would be your review before I spend lots of money on them. They are communication and photo stories and look like some really positive apps that DS might enjoy play with on the iPad.
They are not a necessary tool for direct communication as DS has functional speech. However, as he enjoys playing on an iPad and I am good at talking through things with him to help him understand events/social stories, they might be a positive way to have these conversations that are a bit of fun and visual. He could make stories about anything that interests him, either thinking back to somewhere he has been that was enjoyable or making a plan for somewhere he would like to go.
The query is do I think he will be able to understand through the app?
Do they have a trial period? Perhaps where you can test it?
I will just see if it engages him.
