Looking for private SEN teacher

Good day!
I need an advice. My teenager son needs additional SEN support. Unfortunately school could not find SEN teacher for him so I am looking myself.
We have just moved to UK and I have no idea where to begin.
Any advice will be appreciated.

You don't need to hire a SEN teacher. If the school can not provide the support DS needs you can apply to the LA for an EHCP.

Thank you. I think, it will take a lot of time until we will have any decision.

There are statutory timescales that apply to EHCP applications. If you don't need to appeal the whole process takes 20 weeks.
