ADD assessment

My daughter is 15 and I have always suspected there is an issue with her attention. She went for an ASD assessment in primary school and said there were traits but not enough for a diagnosis. Since being at secondary school she has been better but her focus is terrible.
We have to stand over her to get her to do any school work. Every day is a battle. I have booked in for a private Qb test next week so once we have the outcome may seek a private diagnosis as school don't see an issue (she is supported at home so they don't see her fail)
My question is that she is bright so does anyone have experience of the Qb test. Could she do well on the test by focusing for a short time or does the test mean if she did have ADD there is no way she could do it.
Sorry for rambling but at the end of my tether and really need some help as I just know there is something wrong which is more than behavioural. Thanks in advance for any response letting me know your experiences.

ADHD is not associated with low IQ (actually the reverse) so this won’t make a difference to any diagnostic tests. It does mean that difficulties are easier to mask, though, so your DC is lucky you’re so attuned to how she’s doing, that you can see she’s struggling, and that you’re advocating on her behalf. You’re doing a great thing for her as diagnosis can be life changing.

Thanks for the response, she did he Qb test and it came back within the normal parameters so feel like I am back to square one. I still think she had ADD but don't know if the Qb test could be wrong and to try for a private diagnosis. When it comes to a test she can hyper focus which is what she probably did for the Qb test but in everyday life she is so distracted and I have to keep on top of everything.
