Hello, my 7 year old has been getting DLA since he is 2. He has been getting middle care element and lower mobility element. He has an ASD diagnosis. His autism needs and challenges vary so much that I am confused what changes to report to the DWP. He just now has stopped wetting the bed everynight, he only does it maybe once or twice a week but he is now scared to leave the house and his temper has gotten worse. He still needs constant supervision indoors and outdoors but his walking seems to improve and deteriorate at times. This is so difficult! What do you all do in this situations? Do you call the DWP? Thank youConfused

I wouldn't inform them of the changes you mention -walking may improve physically but this may lead to an increased risk in regards to not being aware of surroundings, fight or flight response when out etc etc

If you think that overall your child needs the same level of support, just maybe for different things, I'd leave it until it's due for renewal
