I had a chat with DD's form tutor and one of the SEN team today. This is a new team, which has changed considerably over the year she's been in the school. DD is in Yr 9, and has had a dyslexia diagnosis since Yr 3. They are suggesting an initial screening for ASD as there seems to be a different issue too. I'm happy for this to go ahead of course, but I'm not quite sure what to expect or why it was suggested.
Just looking for some insight really...
